The 2017 Semillon is a white wine from the Santa Ynez Valley, Los Olivos AVA District.
2017 Semillon Harvest
A semi-dry that was picked mid-harvest season, that has flavors of pear, caramel, & hazelnut. Limited weather and labor conditions stopped us from being able to achieve a full late harvest. As soon as that was recognized, we opted for a mid-harvest approach to balance out the dry & sweet characteristics of the vineyard and region of the 2017 harvest.
The incredible colors and aromas are achieved through extended skin exposure and barrel aging in wood before moving to steel.
