Merlot was carefully crafted to reveal the radiant mystery and blended during the 2017 Eclipse.
The grapes for this Merlot were sourced from vineyards located where the California central coast’s high winds, dry days, combined with ocean fogs create that cool, extended growing season which is ideal for Merlot. Our careful fermentation & aging lead to a wine that is exceptionally full fruit forward fruit traces of cherry, vanilla, fig, and sagebrush. This soft, ripe elegant wine makes for an enjoyable match for Santa Maria tri-tip and rib-eye steaks.
